Leah Spencer

After an initial interest in the practice of yoga as a teenager, Leah has spent over 12 years continuing to focus on the art of yoga.  While trained in multiple forms, she specializes in Hatha and Power Yoga.  She has trained at many studios and schools, including the Avalon Yoga Studio and Baltimore Community College and has taught for numerous years at various levels.  Most of her teaching experience is with adolescents but she looks forward each week to sharing the practice of yoga with Crossfit Retribution’s diverse athletes in helping to enhance their Crossfit and strength training.

Leah is also the current Maryland State record holder in the squat, bench press and total.  This makes her the strongest YOGA instructor in the state of Maryland.  Check out her record setting lifts, the squat, bench press, and deadlift.

Joby McCrobie

In August of  2010 my wife and I joined CFR looking for a way to get stronger and live a healthier life.  Since that time my passion for strength and CrossFit has led me to earn a certification as a Starting Strength Coach, and I now enjoy teaching others how to lift and exercise properly.  Additionally I have also completed the CrossFit movement and mobility trainer course which has helped me to improve the overall flexibility and lifting efficiency of our athletes and CFR members.  I strive to help others obtain the same success in strength training and crossfit as I have. There is no better feeling for me then to see our members and friends achieve success both physically and personally.  I receive great satisfaction in the fact that I had a part to play in another person reaching and exceeding their personal goals. The most important gift a person can give themselves or others is strength.  I look forward to being part of your journey to a stronger healthier you!!!!

Joby is one of 3 Starting Strength Coaches on staff.  For SS coaching he is available for one on one sessions.

You can contact Joby for personal training at jlcmccrobie@gmail.com
